A/Professor of Oral Rehabilitation University of Sydney

Associate Professor Max Guazzato finished Dentistry with first place and honours at the University of Milan and continued further with postgraduate training in Oral Surgery. Prior to University studies Max completed a 5 year full-time Dental Technician diploma at Milan Technology College. After over a decade in private practice, running a day hospital and University lecturing, Max decided that a sea change was due.  He moved to Sydney to start and complete a PhD at Sydney University in the field of Zirconia and dental ceramics.  After completing his PhD, armed with all the new knowledge, he returned to private practice in Sydney to then give it a clinical significance.  After that he then returned to further formal studies and completed his DClinDent (Pros) degree to register as a specialist Prosthodontist. Max has a dental fellowship by examination and is a prosthodontics special field member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.  He is passionate about combining private practice with University teaching, research and continuing education.  It is the magic where a problem in the clinic can be explored under laboratory conditions and then brought back to practice to enhance the service we give to patient - that is what Max loves the most about his job.

Max works in private practice in Bowral and Pyrmont.

Dr. Linda Quach

BDS(Hons), Post Grad Dip Dental Implantology

Dr Linda Quach completed Dentistry at Sydney University with honours. Some research in ceramics led to the start of the adventure into ceramic restorations and the co-authoring of four peer-reviews journal articles. With influence from Max's experience in oral surgery and implantology, Linda decided to move on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology with distinction at Charles Sturt University. Linda's professional interests lie in general dentistry and in particular treatment planning, diagnosis, direct composite restorations, indirect chair-side ceramic restorations and CAD/CAM technology.  It's the constant interaction in a team environment and the amount that you learn by teaching that makes Linda thrive.  She has never tried to hide the fact that she loves focusing on general dentistry.

Linda enjoys taking care of patients in private practice in Bowral and Pyrmont.
